King Township services

As part of a cautious approach to maintaining public and staff safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, King continues to gradually reopen in-person services, including at the King Township Municipal Centre.

The following in-person customer services are available at the Township Centre from Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as of Monday, Nov. 22:

  • Garbage, bulky item and appliance tags
  • Green bin, kitchen catcher and blue box sales
  • Yard composters and rain barrels
  • Payments for taxes, water bills and recreation programs
  • Dog Tags

Passive screening and mandatory masking will be in place.

The following services are available in person each Wednesday and can be booked in advance by contacting clerks@king.ca or calling 905-833-4069:

  • Marriage licences 
  • Commissioning services.

The following services are available in person each Wednesday and can be booked in advance by contacting serviceking@king.ca or calling 905-833-5321:

  • Planning applications and some planning services
  • Building permits and some building services.

Most in-person recreation, cultural and library services are in place with ongoing COVID-19 safety guidelines and restrictions. Visit www.king.ca/recreation-living.
