Looking to expand upon your go-to knitting patterns and techniques? Dive into a new heritage style and learn stitches unique to Estonian knitting during this workshop to craft your own folk mittens.
During the workshop, catch a one-day Estonian-Toronto led art exhibit in partnership with the (EAC) Estonian Arts Centre; and, our current exhibit “Reflections of Ourselves” to learn more about this unique culture and others that inspire fibre crafts around the world.
- Materials will be provided including knitting needles (5 No. 2 Needles) and yarn (Fingering Weight Yarn, 2 colours). However, you can bring your own if you prefer!
- For Intermediate-to-Experienced Knitters. Must have knowledge of a basic knitting stitch.
