Are you proud of your holiday light display and want to share it with the broader community while supporting a great cause? Christmas in King, a sister organization of the King Township Food Bank, is coordinating a Holiday Light Tour for both residences and local businesses to raise needed funds to provide a COVID-friendly driving event for all.
The addresses of participants will be published on a map, available for purchase for $10. Everyone who purchases a map will get an opportunity to vote for both their favourite residential and business displays.
The winners will receive an exterior service valued up to $300, donated by Shack Shine. Winners will be announced in the King Weekly Sentinel and on social media.
Funds will be used by Christmas in King to provide King Township individuals and families with their choice of gifts, a hamper of festive foods, and other items to help make their holiday season brighter.
