At a recent site visit, Mayor Steve Pellegrini was impressed with the progress being made.
“With all their hard work, we will be able to see this project finished and up and ready for the public,” he commented.
Mayor Pellegrini also expressed gratitude for the help from the federal and provincial governments, laying down $9.44 million for the arena less than a month ago, though it only pays for two-thirds of the project.
HELP KING TOWNSHIP BUILD A HEALTHY FUTURE
There are many ways to get involved to reach our community fundraising goal of $400,000! All donors who purchase a brick or become a sponsor (Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze) will be recognised on a Donor Wall in a high-traffic area of the new facility. There are a number of naming opportunities within the facility where your name or the name of someone you want to honour will be prominently displayed.
