Each year, the United Way of York Region, in co-operation with Seneca College King Campus host a Dragon Boat Festival on the lake at the Eaton Hall Estate at Recreation Island. Hundreds participate in this friendly and spirited competition, and thousands come to enjoy this amazing day of racing which includes BBQ lunch, tug-of-war, volleyball and children’s play area. The event is free to spectators.
