CANAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

 NOTICE of ACTIVITY

 This letter is to inform emergency services, business owners, and residents that site preparation will commence July 1, 2010 on the lands identified as requiring clearing.

This activity is taking place in preparation for the Holland Marsh Drainage System Canal Improvement Project, and the relocation of the north and south canals. 

Please also note that in preparation for this activity it is necessary that all landowners with properties abutting the perimeter canal on both the interior and exterior lands, remove all equipment, materials, debris or anything that may impede the required process to undertake the construction component of this Project.  Activity is scheduled to commence July 1, 2010, and for that reason dyke clearings must occur prior to this date.
