Calling all youth in grades 6-8!!

The Youth Video Dance will take place at the Nobleton Arena and are supervised by staff from the Township's Parks, Recreation & Culture Department and the York Regional Police. 

Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door.

Community Skate @ Dufferin Marsh

Saturday February TBD, 3 – 6pm

Enjoy skating on the pond in the beautiful Dufferin Marsh, then warm your toes at the open bon fire.

 

Family Day Winterfest @ Cold Creek Conservation Area (Nobleton)

Monday February 20, 11am – 3pm

Slide on in for an exciting winter adventure and discover all that Cold Creek has to offer. Enjoy a delicious hot soup and fresh bread and take part in a variety of fun activities. ​

Maple Syrupfest @ Cold Creek Conservation (Nobleton)

Saturday March 18, 10am – 2pm

Start your day off right with a delicious Pancake Breakfast and learn all about Maple Syrup and the rich history that brought us this sweet treat. Drop in for the sweet taste of Maple Syrup and take part in a variety of exciting activities for all ages.

Earth Hour 

Saturday March 25, 8:30 – 9:30

Do your part this Earth Hour and switch off your lights. Come out and enjoy a candle lite dinner at one of the local restaurants to support King Township's Earth Hour initiatives. In addition, the Dufferin Marsh Nature Connection will be hosting a bonfire from 8:30 to 9:30 pm at the Dufferin Marsh in Schomberg.

Indoor Community Yard Sale @ Trisan Centre (Schomberg)

Saturday May 6, 8am – 12pm

It's time to do some spring cleaning and turn that clutter into cash. The Township of King invites you to join us for the annual Community Indoor Yard Sale. Participants have the option to donate any unsold items to Goodwill onsite upon the event's completion.

Tables can be purchased for $20/table or two ta​​​ble​s for $35.

Come celebrate Victoria Day in Nobleton! Event includes vendors, midway, fireworks and much more. Parade starts 11am from the Nobleton Library. Fair starts at 12pm at the Nobleton Arena. Fireworks at Dusk.​

King Celebrates Canada 150 in Kettleby

The grand tradition of Canada’s celebration at Tyrwhitt Park in Kettleby continues. Presented by the Kettleby Village Association in partnership with the Township of King, the event takes place July 1st in Kettleby Park. Bring the family and join us for old-fashioned fun and games for kids of all ages,including stage entertainment, face-painting, delicious foods and Fireworks to complete the day.​

Haunting on King Road @ King Heritage & Cultural Centre

October 27 & 28, 7-10pm

Come out for a fun and exciting Halloween! Enjoy delicious treats and get spooked by three degrees of scariness in the Boo Room, Creepy Maze, and frightful scenes. New this year,  join the Paranormal Tour if you dare! Please be advised that the Paranormal Tour deals with "actual" hauntings on the property and may be very scary.​

​Parking is not available at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre. We will be offering free shuttles from Memorial Park (25 Doctors Lane, King City)
