The King Township Public Library Board will direct the community's library service with responsible policies and decisions so that all services are provided in welcoming, safe and accessible spaces for the sharing and enjoyment of knowledge; support the provisions of the Canadian Library Association's Statement on Intellectual Freedom (1985).
The Library aims to connect people to educational, cultural and contemporary recreational resources, and their communities. The Library encourages people of all ages to "enter inquisitive...leave enlightened".
The Township of King Public Library Board term runs concurrent with Council. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month. No meetings are held during the months of July and August.
