Neighbourhood Watch seminar

We're pleased to announce that, in partnership with York Regional Police (YRP), King Township will be hosting an information session on Dec. 5 in Nobleton on how to protect your home or business from break-ins.​
After the presentation is complete, YRP representatives will be happy to answer any questions that you might have.
We look forward to seeing you at either of the seminars.
WHAT: Information seminars hosted by York Regional Police and King Township to help residents and business owners better protect themselves from break-ins.
WHY: There has been an increase in break-ins in King Township.
WHEN AND WHERE: 
Thurs., Dec. 5: 7 pm - Dr. William Laceby Community Centre and Arena, 15 Old King Rd., Nobleton.

Neighbourhood Watch program

​Neighbourhood Watch reduces crime through the active participation of citizens in crime prevention. It involves working with your neighbours to prevent crime - before it starts. 
Few people are in a position to protect their homes and property all of the time and the Neighbourhood Watch program can help to provide a sense of security by encouraging neighbours to keep an eye on each other's property and reporting suspicious activity. The program also helps to co-ordinate the efforts of the police and the community in tracking down criminals.
