Can I request birthday or anniversary congratulations from the Mayor?
 ‎(1)
The Mayor issues congratulatory certificates to King Township residents who are celebrating their 75th birthday
or every 5 years after that, and who are marking their 50th wedding anniversary or every 10 years after that.

Requests for certificates may be directed to Teresa Barresi, Executive Assistant to the Mayor
by telephone at (905) 833-4029, e-mail: tbarresi@king.ca or mail to

2075 King Road, King City, ON L7B 1A1.

You need to provide the following information:
•the full name of the requester and contact information;

•the full name(s) and address of the recipient(s);

•the occasion being celebrated and the date of the birthday or anniversary;

•the date when the certificate is required.

Requests for certificates should be sent to the Mayor's Office a minimum of two weeks in advance to ensure
they can be arranged. If you are e-mailing your request, please write "Congratulatory Certificate" in the
subject area of your message to assist in processing.

All certificates for birthdays and anniversaries must be picked up at

To invite the Mayor to your business opening or expansion, please include the name of the business,
the type of business you are opening, date, time, location, and a contact person and relevant phone number.
Please include any other information you feel is necessary.
