The Parks Recreation and Culture department of the Township of King is housed in the Dr. William Laceby Community Centre and Arena. It offers a wide variety of programming for all ages throughout the year. Nobleton residents are able to enjoy a number of sporting activities: Baseball, Curling, Golf, Hockey, Skating, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis.
Cold Creek Conservation Area is located close to Nobleton on the 11th Concession, south of the 16th Sideroad, 3.5 km north of King Road. Residents and visitors can enjoy nature and walking 6.5 km of trails. Various activities and events are planned throughout the year.
Residents have many opportunities to socialize at events organized by various groups throughout the year, such as: musical events, movies in the park, music video dances for young people. Other physical activities include: dancing classes, hiking on local walking trails, a variety of exercise classes, seniors’ activities.
The annual Nobleton Victoria Day Celebrations have been enjoyed by large crowds from the community and neighboring communities for over 40 years. There is something for everyone: the parade, exhibits, food and merchandise vendors, crafters, entertainers, rides, children’s activities and the best fireworks north of the GTA.
